Senior Android Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Android application development, a solid understanding of OOPS concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns. You will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications that meet our needs and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Publish applications to the Google Play Store and ensure they meet quality standards.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development.

Basic Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Proficient in Kotlin and Core Java programming languages.
Experience with Realm and SQLite databases.
Familiarity with RESTful services using Retrofit/Volley.

Android Skills:
Knowledge of Android UX design principles.
Experience with architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and Layered Architecture pattern.
Good understanding of memory management, performance profiling, and resource constraints.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Realm and XMPP protocol.
Familiarity with Firebase Analytics and FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) notifications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
6-10 years of proven work experience in Android application development.
Strong logical and analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
